Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 Fresh Peaches
  • 1 1/2 Cans Crescent Rolls
  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 to 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup Orange Soda

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter an 8×8 baking dish.

  1. Peel peaches and cut each into 4 to 6 slices.

  2. Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered dish.

  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and lemon juice.

  4. When it’s thickened, remove from the heat and pour over the dumplings.

  5. Pour the soda in the middle and along the edges of the pan, but not over the rolls.

  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. Sprinkle more cinnamon-sugar on top of the baked dumplings if desired.

  8. Serve warm!

Notes:
I used a cake pan instead and it worked great!

The final result picture looks disgusting, but they were so good.
