Ingredients
- 2 to 3 Fresh Peaches
- 1 1/2 Cans Crescent Rolls
- 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 to 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Cup Orange Soda
Directions

Butter an 8×8 baking dish.
- Peel peaches and cut each into 4 to 6 slices.
- Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered dish.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and lemon juice.
- When it’s thickened, remove from the heat and pour over the dumplings.
- Pour the soda in the middle and along the edges of the pan, but not over the rolls.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle more cinnamon-sugar on top of the baked dumplings if desired.
- Serve warm!
Notes:
I used a cake pan instead and it worked great!
The final result picture looks disgusting, but they were so good.
