MAPLE BROWN SUGAR COOKIES

Ingredients


  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
    • Melted and Cooled
  • 1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
    • Room Temp and Lightly Beaten
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • Sugar for Rolling

Directions


  1. Melt butter and allow to cool completely.

  2. Stir in the brown sugar and maple syrup until completely combined.

  3. Stir in vanilla extract and then the egg, stirring well until combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until completely combined.

  6. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour

BAKE

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Scoop the dough, roll in the sugar and bake for 10-12 minutes.

  3. Allow cookies to cool on the cookie sheet.
