Ingredients
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
- Melted and Cooled
- 1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg
- Room Temp and Lightly Beaten
- 3 Cups Flour
- 2 Teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- Sugar for Rolling
Directions
- Melt butter and allow to cool completely.
- Stir in the brown sugar and maple syrup until completely combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract and then the egg, stirring well until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until completely combined.
- Chill in the fridge for 1 hour
BAKE
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough, roll in the sugar and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool on the cookie sheet.
