Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne
- 3/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 2 – 8oz. Cans of Tomato Paste
- 1 Cup + 1/4 Cup Water
Directions
- In a medium sized, thick bottom pan, put olive oil, flour and chili powder. Whisk to combine and place on medium heat.
- Whisk cumin, cayenne, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl.
- Add the tomato paste and 1 cup of water to the bowl of spices. Add the additional 1/4 cup of water as needed.
- Add this to the pan, turn the heat down low, whisk and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Notes:
The sauce might bubble and spit, just whisk it as it thickens.
