Ingredients
- 1 Crusty Bread Loaf
- 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
- Shredded
- 4-6 Tablespoons Butter
- Softened
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- Minced
- 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
Directions
FILL AND BAKE
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine butter, garlic and salt in a bowl, melt and stir.
- Cut the bread into diagonal diamonds (Do NOT cut all the way through the bread)
- Using your fingers, pry open each crack and drizzle in a little butter and a pinch of cheese.
- Brush the surface with the remaining butter.
- Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese has mostly melted.
- Unwrap the bread and bake for 5 more minutes until the bread is nice and crusty.
Notes:
If you make the bread too, it’s even fresher and better!
