CARDAMOM BROWNIES

Ingredients


BATTER

  • 3/4 Cup Butter
  • 200 g Chocolate Chips
  • 4 Teaspoons Instant Espresso
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Eggs
    • Room Temperature
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup Flour

Directions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease an 8 inch baking pan and line with parchment paper for easy removal.

BATTER

  1. Combine butter and chocolate in a medium pot. On low heat, stir constantly until the mixture melts.
  2. Add instant espresso, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and salt to the pot and stir. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, sugar and brown sugar. Beat on high, 5-10 minutes, until mixture is pale and creamy.
  4. Add the chocolate mixture to the bowl and fold into the egg mixture gently.
  5. Sift the flour into the bowl and fold gently. DO NOT OVERMIX!!!
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool for 1 hour before removing from pan.

Notes:
Be careful not to over bake.
