BROWN BUTTER ICING

Ingredients


  • 8 Tablespoons. Butter
    • Softened
  • 3 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Evaporated Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Directions


  1. Put powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and boil, stirring until it starts to brown and form dark flecks on the sides and bottom.

  3. Remove from heat and pout the melted brown butter and flecks over the powdered sugar.

  4. Add the evaporated milk and vanilla and stir until combined and creamy.

  5. Add more powdered sugar if it appears too runny or more milk if it seems too stiff.

Notes:
This has a nice hard set to it.
